Understanding Gratitude
How Gratitude Changes Us!
Sharing Gratitude
Gratitude is a concept that I learned about from a very young age. As a boy, I witnessed many tumultuous moments between my mother and father along with other troubles I came to experience. One of my good friends, at the time, turned me on to going to the southern Baptist church, where his father was a pastor. This church was in Oakland, California and packed with people every Sunday service. It was in this church, that I came to the realization that I should be grateful for my life and those who made my life possible.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
This is a quote from the Bible that I have always admired. Jesus had the strongest sense of gratitude, which in the end, resulted in the ultimate sacrifice of His life for those He loved. He gave up his life for the benefit of others. One story that I like to reminisce about, is when Jesus honored the lady who gave 2 cents even though the others presented the most lavish of gifts. Jesus recognized that the woman gave all she had and it’s because of this notion that we came to the existence of gospel and what it stands for. Her “2 cents worth” meant everything to Jesus!
Whether you believe in the Bible or not, the power of gratitude still remains. Gratitude does not come naturally, nor is it something that is given to you, and it must be practiced and embraced. We have to want it, ask for it, and receive it. We must have a spiritual foundation to guide us and the rest is purely spiritual.
At the simplest form, our inner self is the voice in the back of our head that we constantly listen to or question. This is a phenomenon that everyone experiences, regardless of religion or spiritual practice. Being grateful is simply using this voice, or guiding spirit, if you will, to remind ourselves on a daily basis that we are grateful for all that we have. Once we master this realization, and are genuinely honest with ourselves in the process, we will no longer rely on expectations to give us a fulfilling life. We will be able to sacrifice what we have for loves sake, and truly embrace gratitude for the things we do have. Your conscience will be your guide, and the key is to believe in where you are going.
When we experience gratitude, we are bringing positive energy into our lives and even the whole universe. Yet, be aware that demanding change or being complacent are both polarities to gratitude. If we put expectations on others or materialistic items, we will find ourselves in a continuous circle of disappointment and longing. Without a higher purpose or compassion, anything disappointing that comes our way will be detrimental to our mind and body. If we can have the mindset that everything we have in life is something to be grateful for, then no amount of deprivation can harm us. Be people of extreme grace and we will find the world is our oyster!
Practicing Gratitude
Habit
When I get up in the morning, I always say thank you. Over and over, like a mantra, I just say “thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!” I am thankful to God for the hot water rushing over my face in the shower and I am thankful for the meals He provides me with each day.
We can set an example of gratitude for those in our lives as one way to express our gratitude. I am grateful my daughter has picked up on this habit and I’m equally grateful that this habit has become a part of my psyche and who I am. When I find myself experiencing doubt or fear or even worse envy or jealousy, I ask myself:
“Am I being grateful?”
“What am I being grateful for?”
“Would I be grateful without the things I have?”
“If I lost my greatest possession, would I still be just as grateful?”
Finding a spiritual connection is a great way to get in the habit of gratitude because almost every practice includes this idea. Praying can be found in many religions and can be a way to calm our minds from outside chaos and remind us to stay grounded and, most importantly, to be grateful.
Sacrifice
When we think about sacrifice, we can think about what others gave up to bring us into this lifetime. All great things come from a sacrifice whether a baby from their mother or a job provided from someone else’s wealth. Every person we meet and thing we have, comes from a sacrifice. We can practice gratitude by sacrificing things in our own lives, for others. When we are fortunate enough to experience inner peace with gratitude, materialistic things will hold less value and we can contribute to a spiritual cycle of sacrifice and positive manifestation.
Our Higher Being
We may wake up someday and ask ourselves what we should do. Only you can answer this question because only you can master your life. Most people have so much pride that they simply cannot be honest with themselves and end up lost with only judgment and expectations. Connecting to our inner selves will be something that others will not always be able to understand because it is not scientific, but spiritual. Epiphanies about life can be twilight scenarios but are also some of the most powerful awakenings of all. When we stop feeling entitled to our lives and instead find meaning for them, we will always be content in any situation. It’s not that we won’t be unhappy, it will be that we cannot be unhappy. Sure we can make a scientific case about happiness, but the strongest case will always be within our spirituality and connection to our higher being.
How Gratitude Changes Us!
Gratitude is not only spiritually gratifying, but also benefits our physical and emotional health. Scientists try to provide answers as to why mental health supports physical health but this will always be an idea that cannot be proven but only felt and experienced. When we go too deep into the scientific reasoning, we miss the entire point. When we are grateful, our heart rate and blood pressure goes down and we become balanced. This can be scientifically discovered but not proven beyond our own personal emotions. People are also drawn to positive attitudes. No one wants to be around someone who complains or has a negative mindset. Why? Because it doesn’t feel right. Our intuition doesn’t need any further validation of this. If we aren’t grateful and we are always asking for more or complaining about what we have, then we will find ourselves alone by consequence, not choice. This experience can be extremely emotionally damaging.
If you find yourself having trouble finding gratitude, first try to find the root of this energy. Are you resentful or angry? The essence of gratitude is that it can change our perspective and everyone is capable of this shift. Gratitude cannot be learned instantly but with habitual practice, we can all master the mindset. Once we master gratitude, we will experience the supernatural effects which are so powerful and strong, they might as well be scientific. Many times, we think we need change to be happy or we feel guilty of complacency. However, if we find a perspective of gratitude in every aspect of our lives, we won’t need change and complacency will be ruled out entirely. Feeling complacent is a symptom of entitlement. We can always remind ourselves that we are capable of being better but thinking we deserve change only sets expectations that put our own responsibility onto someone or something else. Remember, our perspective decides whether we are happy or not.
Sharing Gratitude
I find enjoyment in helping others and this mission is my way of expressing gratitude for the things I have in my life. I experience joy when giving back by opening these doors of gratitude and connection for people who still question their purpose and understanding of life. I cannot give anyone the tools for gratitude, since that is a spiritual journey and different for each individual, but I can support anyone in practicing gratitude as a daily habit.
Imagine for a moment, that everyone in the world was happy, content and grateful. No more wars. No more need for divisions. I know it sounds like I’m just a dreamer, but just imagine yourself with this gift. You would find yourself on a path to contentment and, most importantly, pure bliss within your life. I want to help you take limitations out of your life and bring you to having faith in all that you want to be and create. Personally, I have faith that my afterlife will be a great borealis or a universal energy of knowledge that can spread over an entire realm of biological existence. I find this faith from my yearning to express my gratitude for this lifetime and give back the beauty that I was able to experience and accept.

Look, I'm going to be straight with you. Most AI marketing tools are expensive. Jasper starts at $39/user/month just for basic features. Other platforms charge up to $99/month for their premium tiers. And that's before you factor in all the separate tools you need for different tasks. That's what makes American Marketing Company Marketing Tools different. At $49/month, you're getting an entire marketing department in your pocket. Not just one tool. Not just a few features. Everything. Let's break down what that $49 actually buys you: A full AI content creation suite that would normally cost $40-60/month on its own Email marketing automation that typically runs $30-50/month elsewhere Social media management tools that usually cost $25-35/month SEO optimization features that other companies charge $50+/month for Analytics and reporting that could easily set you back $30-40/month Add that up, and you're looking at $175-235 worth of marketing tools. For $49. But here's the real kicker: According to recent market analysis, businesses using AI marketing tools are seeing an average ROI increase of 37%. Think about that. If you're making $5,000 a month now, that's potentially an extra $1,850 in your pocket. From a $49 investment. "But I can just use free tools," you might be thinking. Sure, you could. You could also cut your own hair, change your own oil, and do your own taxes. But at some point, you have to ask yourself: What's your time worth? The average small business owner spends 20 hours per month on marketing tasks. With American Marketing Company Marketing Tools , our users report cutting that down to 5 hours. At even a modest $50/hour valuation of your time, that's $750 worth of time saved every month. Here's what makes this offer different: No contracts No hidden fees No "premium" features locked behind higher tiers No per-user pricing that suddenly triples your costs No complex onboarding process Just $49/month for everything. That's less than what most businesses spend on coffee for the office in a week . And unlike other platforms that make you pay extra for AI features, which can drive costs up significantly for small businesses , everything at American Marketing Company Marketing Tools is powered by AI from the ground up. Think about it this way: $49 is: Less than one tank of gas Less than a decent dinner for two Less than most monthly phone bills Less than what most competing tools charge for just one feature But unlike those expenses, this $49 is an investment that pays for itself. Often in the first week. Here's my challenge to you: Try it for one month. That's all. If you don't see at least a 2x return on that $49 investment, I'll be shocked. With the AI marketing industry growing by 38% in 2025, can you really afford to wait? The catch? There isn't one. But there is a reality: As AI technology costs rise, this $49 price point won't last forever. Lock it in now. Ready to stop wasting time and start growing your business? Visit American Marketing Company Marketing Tools and click "Subscribe." Your future self will thank you. P.S. Still on the fence? Remember this: While you're reading this, your competitors are probably already using these tools. The question isn't whether to embrace AI marketing - it's whether you'll do it before or after them.
